What inspired you to become a nurse practitioner?

I am the oldest sibling in my family and for various reasons I take care of my sister and brother. Over time I noticed how much I enjoyed taking care of them. For example, helping them feel better after a cold made me realize how I could help other people feel better, too. It was then that I decided to become a Nurse Practitioner.

What is your philosophy on patient care?

A patient-center philosophy focusing on treating every patient as if they are family or friend. The goal is to improve patient outcomes, better overall health state, and lower hospitalization rates.
