Smoking Cessation Study
We are currently recruiting participants to evaluate our app. This study is  completely remote, and participants are asked to use the app for 6 weeks (2 weeks pre-quit and 4-weeks post-quit) and complete daily and weekly surveys on the phone. Participants receive evidence-based, culturally-tailored information and support messages through the app each day. Those who do not own a smartphone will be loaned one for the duration of the study. For your time, participants receive $30 for completing the baseline survey, and those who complete at least 90% of the daily surveys and all of the brief weekly follow up surveys are compensated up to $300 for their participation. This clinical trial is funded by the National Institute of Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD).
